Collie is a town in the South West region of Western Australia, 213 kilometres south of the state capital, Perth, and 59 kilometres inland from the regional city and port of Bunbury.
Design and built Collie Veterinary clinic service for Vandenbergh Veterinary Group and its become a 2 largest Vet Clinic in South of the WA. With fully equipped examination rooms, diagnostic machines and pharmaceutical stores.
Design and documentation challenges included balancing the specific requirements from the owner’s and the Veterinary Surgeon’s board and sometimes conflicting needs of the City Council requirements and the as well as Australian Standards, health regulations and significant acoustics restrictions. The mandatory AS 1428.1 accessibility obligations, Disability & Discrimination Act, fire design separation issues, low fire mains pressure, limited power availability, and construction methodology restrictions were also notable challenges on this project.
